The
Manor includes an 18 hole Championship course designed by
Robert Trent Jones one of the best known golf course architects
in the world. The course which uses 230 acres of the lush
parkland around the estate features magnificent mature trees,
the Maigue River comes into play on three holes with a dramatic
finish at the 18th, and three lakes including a 14 acre
lake anchoring the front nine. Horseback riding and fishing
are also available on the grounds of the estate.
Adare
is also central to a number of major tourist attractions
including the Burren, Ailwee caves and the Cliffs of Moher.
