"On the 15th hole
in Baltray 3 of us teed off and my good friend Bob Devenney and
his junior caddy were left to hit their shot. Andrew...
walked up to Bob, took the club out of his hand and gave him another
saying "here hit this". Of course you know what happend,
it went in for an Ace....... In the bar aterwards Bob announced
to the bar man that he wanted to buy drinks for everyone.
About 35 people came up and shook his hand. Later as we were leaving
everyone stood up and applauded which I must say almost brought
tears to our eyes." (Golf Ireland later acquired the 15th
flag from Baltray and posted it to Thomas to present to his friend
Bob)
